What is a cosmetic physician?
A cosmetic physician is a doctor who specialises in non-surgical interventions whose primary intention is changing a patient’s appearance. This is known as cosmetic medicine.
Training and qualifications
After specialising in another area of medicine, cosmetic physicians must do further training. There are a number of roads to this, they may complete the ACCS training course (Australasian College of Cosmetic surgery) or complete alternative international fellowships.
